CINTE 21 Successfully Held
 

On June 22-24, the 15th China International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens (CINTE 21) co-organized by CNITA, CCPITTEX and Messe Frankfurt was successfully held in Shanghai, China. The scale of the exhibition was 25,000 square meters, with nearly 500 exhibitors. The number of visitors increased slightly compared to the previous session. The exhibits covered the entire industrial chain of technical textiles and nonwovens, including machines and accessories, raw materials and chemicals, nonwoven fabrics and products, other industrial textile rolls and products, functional fabrics, personal protective equipment, etc. 
  

CINTE 21 set up a special display area for innovative products. With the theme of Boosting the High-quality Development of the Industry for 20 Years, the display reviewed the achievements of the technical textiles and nonwovens industry in technology and product innovation in the past 20 years since the establishment of CNITA. The exhibits included the car door inner panel made of hemp and bamboo fiber, the national flag displayed on the moon surface of the Chang'e 5, the individual tactical full-protection body armor, the BW090401 radiation protective clothing, artificial blood vessels and other high-tech products.
   


During CINTE 21, the 10th China International Nonwovens Conference (CINC 2021) was also successfully held on June 22-23. Focusing on the theme of "Sustainable Development of the Nonwoven Industry in the Post-Epidemic Era", presentations about status and trend, technological innovation, application expansion and industrial chain collaboration in the nonwoven industry were delivered at site or via video by speakers from CNITA, INDA, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Donghua University, Tiangong University, Fastmarkets RISI, etc. These wonderful presentations attracted a large number of audience. All the seats offered in the conference area were occupied.
  
 
At the conference, the biodegradable logo of Nonwovens Green Alliance (NGA) created by CNITA was unveiled, the first batch of companies and products that passed the biodegradable certification were released. At present, 17 products of 14 companies including Sateri have passed the biodegradable certification.

 
 
Additionally, 2020/2021 Top 10 Nonwovens Industry Companies and Suppliers in China were released by CNITA at the conference.
 
After the conference, many attendees said that CINC is a high-quality learning and communication platform with information sharing of latest technology, professional analysis, comprehensive market and industry trends. Participants and exhibitors expressed that CINTE + CINC was a perfect match, not only plentiful exhibits but also advanced theoretical knowledge could be got.
